I have to say, from what I’ve read so far, the idea doesn’t seem so far-fetched when you look at it with as an expert on the subject. If something comes up and matches something you know about, I guess you’d link the ideas together. Well, what scant knowledge I have about the subject did seem to fit what the author had been writing about.

It does boggle the mind, though, and it really makes you wonder if ideas like mind-controlled slaves and governments being controlled by a group is that far-fetched and impossible.

And then my mind started wandering off into worlds of its own about conspiracy plots and the fight to control human beings and turn them into robots and ideas about being inserted with electronic chips that can track us down and contains our entire history and… well, etc.

The urge to write and create a world of heroes and heroines fighting to save the human race from a board of evil, megalomaniac dictators. I can see the plot going like this:

Heroine is living life peacefully when an unknown stranger (Hero) bursts into her life through some sort of event. Maybe she’s an innocent bystander who is nearly caught in the crossfire between the Hero and the Evil Minions. Insert various plot elements, but they trust each other at the end, and the Heroine is enlightened about the evil doings of the Evil Dictators and how widespread the brainwashing is. Heroine learns there is a Rebel Force fighting the ED and after a battle, decides that doing her part to save the human race is what she wants to do.  Part 1 ends with hope about overthrowing dictatorship.

Part 2 has Hero and Heroine developing a deeper relationship, but neither wanting to do anything about it. Throw in a sub-character Female Hanger-on who is attracted to Hero, and the Rebel Committee Board who plan recons and stuff. I don’t know how to continue from here on, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out if I decide to write a story like this.

Should be fun. I mean, it seems pretty action packed and wars are fun to read about. Sort of. Like, medieval wars in fantasy lands kinda. I’m totally not into modern warfare. They make me cry, though, sometimes.

I’m currently quite addicted to another of TH’s song called “Attention”. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I suppose this song is literally about the attention that Tokio Hotel gets as a famous, successful band. I feel it reinforces my theory especially with the line, “I choose to be lonely than live without your attention” – meaning that they’d rather choose to be lonely (remember World Behind My Wall?) with the attention, rather than be not lonely but without the fame and attention.

I remember what Bill’s said before in an interview; that they’re addicted to the success and the fame and that it drives them on to be more famous, to be more successful. I distinctly remember this phrase, “It’s like a drug.” Sounds pretty ominous to me, and I’m quite sure I’ll freak out if I see Bill start doing A-OK hand signs or photoshoots that cover his left eye. -.-

I love the beginning of the song, though! It’s really addictive. I like the bass, and the guitar, and how the drums come into playing in the song. It’s definitely different from their Humanoid songs, and has more of a mixture of a Schrei/Zimmer 483 sound that’s matured. Add on the fact that you have a rather deep voiced Bill at some parts of the song…. and you get a melted puddle of rainin9. Heh.

And just for fun, here’s Lady Gaga’s acoustic version on BBC Radio. My eyes went boggled when I listened to this version. It’s really carnivalesque, and it’s like, wow. Heh.

I don’t listen to indie music in general, but when I heard that one of my classmates had released her own single with one of her best friends, I just knew I had to check out what she’d produced. May I present… (drumroll please)…

I’m happy that my parents decided to sign up for the Freedom pack thingy that has: SCV, 2MB/S internet speed and a phone line. I don’t really care about the phone line though. The ones that hold my attention are the awesome super fast download speed for the internet, and the fact that I can record TV shows – that usually happens to be late at night and my parents refuse to let me watch – anytime I want.

The 2MB/s is fast. Never thought I’d see the day when I’d finished downloading the Audition game is roughly, 20-30 minutes. Used to take hours, and sometimes the internet would screw up somewhat, leaving me with a half-downloaded installer.

So yippee me, fast internet speed. Anyway, have you guys watched the video Decode by Paramore? It’s the soundtrack to Twillight, and when I watched it the first time chills and shivers kept running down my spine. Thinking about it gives me the tingles. Usually I don’t have this kinda reaction, but I suppose that with reactions like this, it must be pretty good.

Here’s a video with superb sound quality. I had to search a while to find something with decent video quality. Imeem – the ones I usually embed in my posts – had pretty sucky user-uploaded videos, so when I saw this, it was definitely what I wanted.

You see the hat that the lead singer is wearing? I think I’m going to find me some yarn and needles and start making it. When Twillight opens in Singapore, it’d be awesome to wear a hat like that to the movie. Heh. Here’s the pattern link that I found! Click here

That’s Tom Felton, the dudey who acted in Harry Potter as Draco Malfoy. In this video he’s so genuine and I enjoy it so much because I can feel the earnestness and enjoyment he’s getting from playing and singing! It’s a short post, but I will come back!

Times when she cannot bear to put into words the things she feels, the things she sees, the things she hears. She’d like very much to talk to someone, but… there is no one who can understand what she feels, or sees, or hears.

And so she sits in front of the computer screen, tapping away at the dirty old keyboard, pouring out her feelings and thoughts into an online world where no one sees, or visits at all. Or maybe people do visit this imaginary world of hers, filled with her words and images evoked by sensual expressions.

So today this girl is back at the computer again. She remembers clearly the day before yesterday. She smiles wryly to herself, thinking of the things that happened.

It was an ordinary day for an outing to the beach. When she first met up with them, she was relieved, and a little disappointed about his absence. But she thought, maybe it’s better this way, less awkwardness. And then it turned out that he would come later.

When everything was going on its own way, she felt left out when he came. He dominated the entire conversation everywhere and her good friends were missing. There was nothing to do; she decided not to help with the food any longer because she would just get in the way.

She was feeling lost. Confused. Unsure.

She didn’t know what to do.

And then she saw the sea, and the crashing cymbals of the sea orchestra playing enchanted her. She said to her friend, I’ll be over there, and went to sit on the stones. The waves sweep over the bottom of the stones and splatter seawater everywhere. They sound like tinkling bells, like faeries playfully knocking on a golden bell.

The orchestra changed to a slow rhythm, and she sways to its beat. She doesn’t know the name of the song playing, but she can feel it in her heart that it is an age-old song that has mesmerized many a person to the sea.

She sees the lady of the sea, confident in her own power, majestic, powerful. The lady dances her quicksteps on the sandy beach, teasing the earth as she comes and then goes. The gentleman of the earth is held in rapture, tormented perhaps in his enchanted state, as he dances the waltz with her. They swing back and forth over the beach, the lady fluffing up her skirt and the gentleman bowing and she hears the orchestra playing and the moonlight shining down upon the duo.

They dance in perfect coordination as he leads her, turning left, turning right, and then twirling her around. Her sapphire blue gown spreads itself in the air, and all around them appears jewels of the deepest blue. The man dances a special for her, and all around, plants of the darkest forest green sprout.

The picture they presented as they danced away, lost in their own world, was perfect. Beautiful. If a picture could tell a thousand words, then looking at their dance would tell the entire story of the universe.

And so she gazes at them, lost in their timeless beating of the hearts, the passion of their touches, their-

Ah, what a lovely pair, she thinks. They will dance together forever, and nothing could possibly separate them from one another. Look at the passion in their eyes, their sparkling eyes, she talks to herself.

And then she realizes that even though she is dancing a solo by herself now, it’s all right. It’s all right even though she doesn’t have a partner with whom to share her passion with. It really is all right.

Because she knows that she will never settle for less than what she had seen in the lady and the gentleman.

And she knows that she can wait.
